Program Details

The BCC FashioniCITY Rewards Club is a shopping centre loyalty program unlike any other! It's totally free to join and the rewards are fabulous!

In order to reward our most savvy customers in meaningful ways, we've created a FashioniCITY rating system using virtual GEMS, which you can build through overall participation, like visiting the mall often, staying longer, shopping more and participating in events, surveys & contests to collect more GEMS. The more GEMS you collect, the better the rewards!

You'll receive approximately two (2) emails per month with extra special offers, VIP event invitations and exclusive rewards based on your FashioniCITY GEM level and the profile you've been building as you shop!

Don’t worry, you can still participate in the FashioniCITY Rewards Club. If you don’t have a compatible smartphone and/or the BCC App, you can sign up online or in-mall at Guest Services.

You’ll be given a FashioniCITY membership card from Guest Services after signing up, which you can use at our FashioniCITY kiosk (located by Lower Level Guest Services) to participate in the Rewards Club. Simply hold your card approximately 6 inches from the scanner and wait for the “beep”. There you’ll be able to select an offer from one of our fabulous retailers every time you visit the mall, while increasing your GEM level!

We do the work for you! You'll receive a monthly email with an update of your FashioniCITY GEM level. You'll also receive an update every time you visit the mall, either at the kiosk or straight from your app.

If your FashioniCITY profile is connected to the BCC App, you can conveniently view information about your GEM level any time in the Profile tab from the left-hand menu, including a tab that forecasts GEMS expiring within the next 10 days.

Not on a long term basis. Every time you visit BCC, keep you receipts for that visit and register them with Guest Services or on the app to increase your FashioniCITY GEM level. If you forget to register your receipts, you can update your profile by registering them within 7 days from your last purchase.

Once your purchases are registered, you don't have to worry about your receipts for the purpose of the Program (but you'll want to hang onto them for usual reasons, like exchanges, returns or otherwise)

There are several reasons why your receipt may have been rejected. Member receipts that will not be registered successfully, whether at Guest Services or via the BCC App, are:

  • Receipts dated more than 7 days ago
  • Receipts that have already been submitted by the member or by another FashioniCITY member
  • Receipts that include purchases that don't belong to the registered member
  • To be accepted, receipts must be for the member’s own purchases, dated within the last 7 days and issued by a retailer located at BCC. Purchases that are not accepted are as follows: online purchases (even if scheduled for pickup at BCC), phone bills (unless there is proof of payment at a phone store located at BCC), gift receipts, duplicate receipts, gift card purchases, receipts from currency exchange, lottery and/or prescriptions, credit card bill payments, bank statements, and any receipts which do not list the store name and location.
  • Receipts submitted on the BCC App with image(s) that were illegible (ie. blurry, too dark/light, etc.)
  • Receipts submitted on the BCC App with image(s) that did not include all required information
  • Receipts submitted on the BCC App with required information provided that did not match the receipt image(s)

The FashioniCITY GEM rating system is a web-based system that will keep track of overall member participation in the FashioniCITY Rewards Club. Virtual GEMS are awarded to members for participation in and/or interaction with the FashioniCITY Rewards Club, including, but not limited to, visit duration, new member referrals, event attendance or receipt submission.

Virtual GEMS are collected by members across a rolling 90-day period. The FashioniCITY GEM rating system will keep track of overall member participation in the Rewards Club. You can increase your GEM level by:

  • Visiting BCC often
  • Staying at the mall longer
  • Registering your purchases at Guest Services or on the app
  • Participating in surveys, events or contests
  • Taking advantage of special promotions
  • Referring a friend to the Rewards Club, who successfully becomes a member

GEMS collected outside of 90 days will no longer contribute to your current GEM levels.

If your FashioniCITY profile is connected to the BCC App, you can conveniently view information about your GEM level in the Profile tab, including a tab that forecasts GEMS expiring within the next 10 days.

In the event of any discrepancy, BCC's determination of the size of the reward and FashioniCITY GEM level shall be final.

As a FashioniCITY member, you will earn the following number of GEMS for visiting the mall, referring a friend and registering a receipt:

  • 1 GEM for every 2 hours spent checked in* at Bramalea City Centre
  • 10 GEMS for each friend you refer to the FashioniCITY Rewards Club (see next question for further details)
  • 1 GEM for every $50 spent on a receipt registered at Guest Services or via the app

You may also earn GEMS for attending an event, participating in a survey or entering a contest, but the number of GEMS will be determined at the time of the event, survey or contest.

*Time spent checked-in at the mall is tracked automatically through your phone using Bluetooth, or by checking in and out manually at the FashioniCITY kiosk in mall using your membership card.

Receive 10 FashioniCITY GEMS for each friend you refer to our Rewards Club.* If you've got a friend (or friends) who you think would enjoy all of the fabulous FashioniCITY perks & privileges, invite them using the handy form on the Tell a Friend page at bccfashionicity.com/site/referral.

*When your friend checks in to the mall for the first time, either at the FashioniCITY kiosk or wirelessly on the app, your FashioniCITY GEM level will automatically increase. Referred friends' email addresses will not be considered valid if they are already a member or if they have already been invited to FashioniCITY (so we don't wind up sending them multiple emails).

Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time. You may choose to by simply discontinuing the use of your FashioniCITY membership card or uninstalling the BCC App. To prevent further email communication, there is a link at the bottom of each FashioniCITY email allowing you to unsubscribe, or you can send an email to members@bccfashionicity.com asking to be removed from the Rewards Club. Keep in mind that all information collected is kept for a minimum of six months and a maximum of two years by BCC and Morguard. View our Rewards Club's Terms & Conditions for more information.

Offers, Perks and Privileges

There are so many exclusive rewards available for FashioniCITY members! Perks & offers from your fave retailers, free samples of items you LOVE, chances to enter member-only contests, invites to exciting FashioniCITY events and much, much more!

An offer is available for all members and is not dependent on having a specified number of GEMS. FashioniCITY members using the mobile app will be able to see all available member-only offers, and will simply need to show the offer on the app to the participating retailer or Guest Services to redeem it (as specified in the offer details). FashioniCITY members using the membership card at the FashioniCITY kiosk will be shown a selection of offers per day and be prompted to choose one, which will be printed at the kiosk.

Perks, on the other hand, will be unlocked according to your GEM level. The number, type and frequency of perks available are based upon a number of factors, each subject to change and availability. You are allowed to redeem one perk per calendar month. At times, more than one perk may be displayed as an option where you may will select one as your chosen perk for that month.

Monthly perks should only be claimed on the FashioniCITY kiosk or app at the time the member plans to use them because you will only have one hour from the time the perk is redeemed, either digitally or printed, to present the perk for redemption with Guest Services or the retailer (as specified in the perk details).

When you are eligible to receive an exciting new offer or perk, it will be made available to you upon checking in with your membership card at a kiosk or can be viewed at any time when you visit your FashioniCITY profile on the BCC App.

The offers and perks you see when you check-in at a FashioniCITY kiosk or via the app are generously provided by our retailers, updated regularly and available for a limited time. With each offer or perk you select, and by registering receipts from the stores that you love to shop at, you're building your very own FashioniCITY profile. The offers and perks you see will be tailored to include a few of your favourite things, along with others we hope will pleasantly surprise you!

Offers have redemption periods that will vary, and any expiration dates will be specified when the offer is generated.

Card Details

If you signed up for FashioniCITY on our website or in-mall, Guest Services at Bramalea City Centre will be able to set you up with your very own FashioniCITY membership card assigned to your ID number once you're signed up.

No. Since the Rewards Club is designed to personalize your perks, privileges and offers to reflect your personal preferences, memberships are intended to be used by one person only.

Unfortunately no, each member of your family requires their own FashioniCITY profile and personalized ID number. This way every member of the family can receive their very own perks, privileges and offers!

Yes, technically you can use both a membership card and the BCC App to participate in the Rewards Club, although we recommend fully transitioning into the app.

The BCC App offers a store directory, interactive mall map, the latest store promotions and best of all, access to the FashioniCITY Rewards Club right at your fingertips! It’s easy to use and convenient for redeeming your perks & offers on-the-go.

No. If you’re using FashioniCITY via the BCC App, there is no reason why you need a membership card, as you can participate and access all FashioniCITY perks & privileges right on the app!

If you've misplaced your FashioniCITY membership card, please visit Guest Services to migrate your membership details to a new card.

The scanner at the FashioniCITY kiosk is motion-activated, so it should activate by holding your card in front of it (roughly 6 inches away is ideal). If you peek over the card, you should see the scanner light flashing. The scan happens when the scanner light is aligned with the barcode on the back of your card.

If you're still having trouble, visit Guest Services at Bramalea City Centre and they will do their very best to help you. From time to time the machine requires servicing, and the team will be quick to get in there, clean the scanner screen, reboot the machine, or whatever it takes!

Registration Details

No, you must be 18 years of age or older in order to become a FashioniCITY member. If you're under 18, please encourage your parents to sign-up and maybe they'll share some of their fabulous perks with you!

Employees of Bramalea City Centre, its retailers or partners are eligible to become FashioniCITY members, but are limited to earning rewards valued under $100 CAD. Employees of Morguard Corporation and Morguard are not eligible to participate.

We require your postal code to ensure you have reached the age of majority in the province in which you reside and to determine your eligibility for specific contests.

You need an email address to participate in the FashioniCITY Rewards Club. Names and phone numbers may often belong to more than one person, so we use your personal email address as a unique identifier upon registering. More importantly, we'll email you fabulous offers, exclusive invites to FashioniCITY event invites and more!

Need an email address? There are numerous free email service providers available and registering for one is easy! We recommend Google's mail service, Gmail. You can sign up on the Gmail website.

Your email address is an integral part of your individualized profile with FashioniCITY, therefore every person that registers requires their very own email address. Also, certain events and contests may have restrictions that limit the number of check-ins or entries by your unique email address. Translation: if you’re sharing an email address with someone else in the Rewards Club, you both won’t be able to check-in at exclusive, member-only event, connect both profiles to the BCC App or enter into an exciting, new contest!

Communication Details

You'll receive approximately two (2) monthly emails with special offers, announcements, promotions, VIP invitations and/or exclusive rewards based on your FashioniCITY GEM level and the profile you've been building as you shop!

Not seeing our FashioniCITY messages in your Inbox? Here are a few tips to help our email reach you:

  • The most common reason members are not receiving emails from members@bccfashionicity.com is because they've been sent to Junk Mail or Spam folder. Check there, and you should find an option to mark these emails as "not Spam", so that future emails from us will arrive in your Inbox!
  • Try adding members@bccfashionicity.com to your contacts list.
  • If you stopped receiving our emails after July 1, 2014, it's likely because we need to reconfirm your desire to receive our emails to comply with a new Canadian law. See below for more details.

On July 1, 2014, a new law was passed in Canada that requires us to confirm that you wish to receive our commercial electronic messages, even if you had successfully received them in the past. Confirmation is a two-step process:

  1. Confirm your desire to receive our emails. You can do so at bccfashionicity.com/eblast/confirm
  2. Check your email and click the confirmation link enclosed, verifying your ownership of the email address

If you're still not sure, send an email to members@bccfashionicity.com along with your name and Membership Card number and we'll look into it for you!

Guest Services at BCC is the best place to visit if you have any questions, comments or concerns about your FashioniCITY profile, trouble setting up the BCC App, or the FashioniCITY Rewards Club in general. They will do their best to answer all of your questions!

Mobile App Details

If you're an Android smartphone user, you can visit the Google Play Store and follow the installation instructions to download.

The app will be supported on the two most recent versions of iOS and Android.

There is a lot you can do on the new BCC mobile app! View all of our mall info, including mall hours & store directory, use our interactive mall map to guide you from store-to-store, and get quick access to upcoming events, the latest store promotions and exciting contests.

You’re able to customize your profile with a personalized pic, and select your favourite retailers and restaurants to be notified about perks, privileges and offers via the app that fit you and your interests. And, best of all, the app gives you access to our FashioniCITY Rewards Club and exclusive offers, perks & privileges. Not a FashioniCITY member? You can sign up right on the app!

Once you download the app onto your phone and open it for the first time, we’ll take you on a walkthrough, including step-by-step instructions of how to connect your existing FashioniCITY profile. As a current FashioniCITY member, connecting your profile to the app is simply a matter of providing the email address associated with your membership and confirming you own that email address by inputting the 6-digit verification code that will be emailed to you upon connection. Copy and paste that code into the empty field on the app, and your account will be successfully connected.

If you navigate to the “Profile” section of the app (through the menu on the left) and can see your member info, then you've successfully connected your FashioniCITY profile.

If you don’t see any of your member info, you can enter your FashioniCITY email address again and click "Connect Your Account" to generate a new 6-digit verification code, which will be emailed to you upon completion. Enter that code into the verification field on the app, and your account will be successfully connected.

Navigate to the “Profile” section of the app (through the menu on the left), enter your FashioniCITY email address again and click “Connect Your Account” to generate a new 6-digit verification code, which will be emailed to you upon completion.

The new app will not dramatically affect your existing FashioniCITY profile, we're simply introducing a fun, new way to participate in our Rewards Club!

If you download the new app and connect your existing FashioniCITY profile, you no longer need to use your FashioniCITY membership card, nor visit the FashioniCITY kiosk at the mall to check-in. You will also notice that your FashioniCITY rating has changed. Don’t worry if you notice a decrease, as your rating has simply been converted to an equivalent rating in virtual GEMS – our new FashioniCITY rating system.

You may install the app on more than one device, but you can only connect your FashioniCITY profile to one.

You must have an Internet connection to use the app. Please ensure your phone’s Mobile Data is enabled and/or you are connected to Bramalea City Centre’s free Wi-Fi when you arrive at the mall.

If you're still having trouble, visit Guest Services and they will do their very best to help you use the app.

First, please make sure your Bluetooth and Location Services are both enabled on your smartphone. When you get to the mall, open the app on your phone, and if Bluetooth is “on”, you’ll be checked in automatically once you open the app. Shortly you’ll start to receive notifications for the stores or categories you subscribe to. You’ll earn GEMS while you’re there (one for every two hours), and will automatically be checked out once you leave the mall.

It's fast and simple. Navigate to the "Receipts" section of the app, and clearly capture the date, time, store name and grand total in a picture. If you can't fit it all into 1 picture, don't worry - you can take up to 3 photos! Then, provide the store name, date and grand total, and that's it, you've successfully submitted your receipt! The store name, date and total inputted by the member must match the information shown on the receipt.

All receipts are subject to review and can be flagged as suspicious and/or rejected if the receipt...

  • Includes purchases that don't belong to the registered member
  • Has already been submitted by the member or by another FashioniCITY member
  • Is not dated within the last 7 days
  • Image(s) was illegible (ie. blurry, too dark/light, etc.)
  • Image(s) did not include all required information
  • Image(s) had details that did not match the additional, required information provided during submission
  • Is a gift receipt, phone bill (unless proof of payment at a BCC phone store), personal trainer payment (from GoodLife Fitness), currency exchange receipt or credit card bill payment

Receipts may be removed from a member's account and GEM levels decreased accordingly if submitted receipts do not meet these qualifications.

We do not track your off-site activity, meaning we won?t know anything you do off of Bramalea City Centre property. Beacons will be used in-mall to facilitate proximity-based notifications, wayfinding and aid in automatic features, like check-ins.

You can customize which notifications you receive in your ?Preferences? on the app. Not interested in using the Bluetooth-enabled features? No problem! Just toggle ?off? in your app ?Settings?.

If you?re having trouble using the app, or running into problems connecting your existing FashioniCITY profile to the app, you can visit Guest Services, as they may be able to assist you.
